Position Type: Locum, Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses

Schedule: Few options - 3 x long days 8am to 8pm, 3 x days 9am to 5pm or 4 nights on and 3 nights off

Job Description: We are currently seeking two experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team on a locum basis at a mental health hospital in the Poole area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about mental health nursing to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients with mental health disorders.
• Administer depot medications according to prescribed guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status, and report any changes or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health nursing.
• Experience administering depot medications is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
