Hunter Mental Health is currently working alongside a fantastic Substance Misuse service in Berkshire, assisting them in their search for a Non Medical Presciber. 

The service is a charity dedicated to the belief that they can make a difference to their Service Users lives. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you would offer specialist clinical interventions to people who use the Berkshire service. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and passionate Substance Misuse Nurse to help shape our vision in how they provide clinical services to individuals whose lives have been affected by drugs and alcohol.

Key details of the position:

• Job Title - Registered Mental Health Nurse (MUST have Substance Misuse Experience and be qualified with V300 Prescribing)
• Location - In Berkshire
• Duration - 3 months on going
• Schedule -  Monday to Friday, 9 - 5
• Start Date - May 2024
• End Date - August 2024
• Rate of Pay: £45 - £55

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Current and valid registration with the NMC
• Proven experience within an NMP role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Must be a car driver and have access to a car
• Must have previous Substance Misuse experience
