Hunter MH is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Visitor to join a fantastic team in Lancashire.  You will play a vital role in delivering the Healthy Child Programme, providing vital support and guidance to families with children from 0-5 years old.

Job Details:

  • What: Health Visitor (SCPHN)
  • Where: Lancashire. 
  • When: ASAP
  • PAY: £28- £30 per hour.
  • Type: Full time and Part Time.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver the 5 mandated Healthy Child Programme checks.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Provide expert advice and support to families on a range of issues, including breastfeeding, child development, nutrition, and parenting.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and community services to ensure seamless care for families.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the 0-19 service.

Requirements:

  • A registered nurse with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) qualification
  • Experienced Health Visitor with NHS experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children and families.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care.
