Job Opportunity: Community Psychitatric Nurse (CPN) - Assessments Nights

Location: West Birmingham area, Hospital Setting
Band: Band 6
Rate: £30 to £32 per hour (Nights), £35 to £37 per hour (Sundays/Bank Holidays)
Hours: Full-time night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for patients presenting in the emergency department during night shifts.
  • Providing timely and accurate clinical evaluations to inform appropriate patient care pathways.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient referrals and ensure optimal treatment plans.
  • Demonstrating strong clinical judgment and assessment skills in managing crisis situations.

Requirements:

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an RMN.
  • Proven experience in mental health assessments, particularly within acute or emergency settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality care and upholding professional standards.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required.
