Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Home Treatment Team
Band: 6
Location: Yeovil
Duration: Minimum 3 months, with the potential for ongoing
Shifts: Flexible 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am (Long days/nights)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £30 - £32 per hour

Responsibilities: As an integral member of our community-focused team, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting visits to patients on a ward to ensure their needs are met.
• Administering medication at scheduled times to address patients' healthcare requirements.
• Engaging in meaningful conversations with patients, understanding their conditions, and providing efficient assistance.
• Performing risk assessments when necessary to ensure a safe environment for patients during their treatment.

Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Active registration through the NMC as a mental health nurse.
• Proven experience in community healthcare, preferably with a background in home treatment teams.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Dedication to delivering the highest quality of patient care.

Working Hours and Contract Duration: Expect flexible shifts from 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am. The initial contract is for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for extension.
