Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adults (18-65) – Ongoing

We are currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience in community care for adults, ready for a new professional challenge.

Here are some key details about the position:

• Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Adults (18-65)
• Band: 6
• Location: Manchester
• Duration: Ongoing, 3 months initially
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Rate of pay: £25+ per hour

A day in the life of an RMN:

As a mental health nurse specializing in the community, you will play a crucial role in providing care to adult patients by:

• Conducting visits to patients on a ward to ensure their needs are met.
• Administering medication at scheduled times to address patients' needs.
• Engaging with patients, understanding their conditions, and providing efficient assistance while monitoring potential improvements or setbacks.
• Performing necessary risk assessments to ensure patient safety and maintaining a secure treatment environment.

Requirements and qualifications for this role:

• Active registration with the NMC as a mental health nurse.
• Proven experience in a community setting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Dedication to delivering the highest quality of care to patients.
