Position Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse to join an adult CMHT team on a 3 month ongoing contract to cover short-term staffing needs in Manchester. The ideal candidates would already have adult CMHT experience at band 6.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and other safety measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the UK, with registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Previous nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different healthcare environments and handle varying patient caseloads..
- Willingness to undergo any necessary background checks and occupational health screenings required for employment.
