Job Title: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Locum
Location: Worcester, United Kingdom
Duration: 3-6 months (Full-Time)
Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our dynamic crisis team in Worcester, supporting adults in need of mental health assistance. This is a locum position offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care to adults experiencing mental health crises.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver crisis intervention and support services to clients in various community settings.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and educational sessions to promote mental wellness and resilience.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration.
- Proven experience working in mental health crisis intervention, preferably within a community setting.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work full-time hours over a 7-day rota, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Remuneration:
- Days: £25 per hour
- Nights/Saturdays: £32 per hour
- Sundays/Bank Holidays: £40 per hour
