Location: Staffordshire Area

Position: Band 6 Social Worker
Working Hours: Full Time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract Duration: Minimum of 3 Months (with potential for extension)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Social Worker to join our team in the Staffordshire area. This role involves working closely with the NHS to provide essential support within our Adult Community Mental Health services. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to adults with mental health needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to adults with mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including NHS professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic care.
• Advocate for service users, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
• Manage a varied caseload, balancing the complexities of community mental health work.
• Ensure all documentation and reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Experience: Strong background in adult community mental health is essential.
• Qualifications: Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
• Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and care planning skills.
• Transportation: Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle, as travel within the community is required.
• Flexibility: While the role is primarily office-based, there may be some flexibility for part remote working.
