Locum Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - Children's Mental Health Hospital

Location: Crawley area 
Contract: 3-Month Minimum, Full-Time
Working Hours: Alternating Shifts (3 x Long Days for Two Weeks, then 3 x Nights for Two Weeks)
Pay Rate: £30 per hour (Days, Umbrella) | £34 per hour (Nights/Saturdays, Umbrella) | £38 per hour (Sundays/Bank Holidays, Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a strong background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)? We have an urgent requirement for a locum RMN to join our dedicated team at a children's mental health hospital. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young patients in a specialized and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Conduct assessments, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medication and treatment in line with care plans, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting recovery and resilience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong CAMHS experience is essential.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Ability to work effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
