Locum Social Worker - Male Forensic Mental Health Hospital

Location: Crawley area 

Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 3 Months)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Shifts Available: 8am-6pm, 9am-5pm, or 8am-4pm

Pay Rate: £45+ per hour (Umbrella, depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Social Worker with a strong background in forensic mental health? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated locum Social Worker to join a team at a male forensic mental health hospital. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care and support to our patients, helping them navigate complex mental health issues within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients within a forensic setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Provide expert guidance on risk management and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of patients, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.

Requirements:

• Strong forensic experience within a mental health setting.
• Registration with Social Work England (mandatory).
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.
