Locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN or Social Worker)
Location: East Midlands
Role: Locum Band 6 CPN or Social Worker
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: £24.50 - £26 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3-month ongoing placement
Essential: Car driver
We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) or Social Worker for an exciting opportunity within the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This is a locum position across the East Midlands, providing clinical oversight and supporting the Locality Pathway Allocation Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical oversight of the triage process for routine referrals.
- Review and assess referrals completed by Band 4 Clinical Support Assistants daily.
- Ensure that appropriate care pathways are identified and actioned for patients.
- Support the CMHT in streamlining triage processes and decision-making.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC registration or Registered Social Worker with valid SWE registration
- Previous experience in community mental health settings, ideally within a Band 6 role.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
