Hunter Mental Health have an exciting opportunity for a great CPN or Social Worker in an Older Adults team. The role will be providing treatment and care to patients aged 65 and over with a mental health illness including dementia in a Maidenhead based service. This mental health trust strives to provide compassionate help and support to enable older people to live independently.

They will need someone with the following:

• Experience working with Older Adults is desirable but not compulsory
• Ability to provide excellent treatment and care reviews to patients and their families/carers.
• Ability to take responsibility for managing urgent clinical calls, including risk assessment and management.
• Ability to take responsibility for supporting team members in their decision making
• Good organisational skills
• Good Communicator
• Good computer skills

Key details of the role:

• Community Psychiatric Nurse or Social Worker
• Band 6 or 7
• Shifts available are 9 till 5 or 11 till 7
• Experience in working with/caring Older Adults desirable
• Start date – ASAP
• Flexible working with home visits
• Duration – 3 month with potential to be ongoing
• Full Time or Part Time position
• £27PH to £30PH umbrella – depending on experience
