Location: Hereford City Neighbourhood Team, Widemarsh St, Hereford

Position Type: Locum, Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: £25

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the Hereford City Neighbourhood Team. This full-time locum role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and deliver high-quality mental health care to individuals within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions to individuals within the community.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Deliver effective crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • Offer advice, support, and education to service users and their families to promote recovery and self-management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and service standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Previous experience working as a Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) within a similar setting.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and independently when required.
  • Commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting service user autonomy and empowerment.
